SRK is pleased to welcome Nicholas J. Alicata as an associate and Kenneth R. Manyin as Of Counsel.
Nick supports the firm’s work in complex litigation matters, including In re Apple Inc. Smartphone Antitrust Litigation and In re da Vinci Surgical Robot Antitrust Litigation. Prior to joining SRK, Nick was an associate at a national class action firm, where he focused on pharmaceutical antitrust litigation and represented end-payers, including Fortune 100 health insurers, in cases against pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Nick has worked on significant antitrust matters such as In re Generic Pharmaceutical Pricing Antitrust Litigation and Health Care Service Corp. v. Indivior Inc., which resulted in one of the largest pharmaceutical opt-out settlements to date. He also supported trial preparation in the data privacy case Frasco v. Flo Health, Inc., which involved allegations that a women’s health app improperly disclosed sensitive user information to third parties and resulted in favorable settlements with Flo Health and Google and a jury verdict against Meta.
Nick earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and his B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Stony Brook University.
Ken joins SRK as Of Counsel and concentrates his practice in antitrust litigation. He has served on litigation teams representing consumers and businesses in matters including Gordon v. Amadeus IT Group, In re Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation, and In re Generic Pharmaceuticals Antitrust Litigation. Earlier in his career, Ken handled a wide range of litigation matters and has also served as an arbitrator in Pennsylvania and New Jersey courts and as a municipal prosecutor.
Ken earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and holds a B.A. in English and History from the State University of New York at Albany.
